Medicare Billing
Medicare requires the full payment amount which includes the gap payment to be made before a rebate can be processed. Medicare sets a payment amount per attendance based on services provided, and we charge a gap. The patient must been seen to be eligible for a rebate.
There are over 5,000 Medicare items in Australia making it difficult to estimate the fees before the consult takes place. However, for a standard in clinic 20 minute adult appointment, $139.70 must be paid on the day with credit card or debit card, with a Medicare rebate processed into your account ($80.10). This will leave you $60 out of pocket.
Cancellation Fee
If you cannot make your appointment, please call us on 0342100696 to inform us within four hours of your appointment time, otherwise a cancellation fee will apply.
If we do not hear from you, a 'failed to attend' fee to the cost of the full consult price will apply.
If you have booked a double appointment, the cost of the double appointment will apply.
COVID Vaccines
COVID vaccines are Government funded and you will be bulk billed on the day of your appointment.
